有關內燃機的術語研究

內燃機 (internal combustion engine) 是在汽缸 (cylinder) 內，將空氣與混合的燃料爆發燃燒， 使活塞 (piston) 來回運動(reciprocating motion) 的熱引擎 (heat engine) 。根據活塞的衝程 (stroke) 分成四衝程及二衝程兩大類，又根據使用燃料可分成氣體引擎 (gas engine)、汽油引擎 (gasoline engine)、重油引擎 (heavy oil engine)、柴油引擎 (diesel engine)、氣體渦輪 (gas turbine) 等。上述大多數使用於汽車、卡車、飛機、船舶等。
